I’m a PhD student working on plant-pollinator interactions in the Seychelles. I’m working on the effects of different perturbations in plant-pollinator communities and the consequent effects on network structure and pollination service. In addition, I am working with mathematical models to study the response of plant-pollinator network structure to the presence of competitive pollinators.
I’m interested in pollination ecology, ecological networks and conservation of plant-pollinator interactions and function on islands.
As a background, I was born in Venezuela but I did all of my education in Spain. Specifically, a Bachelor in Environmental Science and Masters in Terrestrial Ecology.
I have been working with my supervisor Chris Kaiser-Bunbury since November 2017, first in the Darmstadt Technical University in Germany and now in the University of Exeter.
